iBoss Web Filtering
iBoss web content filtering is included in the Chrome extensions for both in-library public use computers and loaned-out (take-home) computers.
IT is full-featured, cloud-based web content filtering that does not depend on the computer, but is "attached" to the computer based on the age of the patron who logs in.
Features
Different levels of filtering can be set up with a large selection of content items.
The filter can be set up to allow staff to override and add URLs to an Allowlist or Denylist.
The categories are set up via a web interface accessible by your IT administrators.
There is no internal or external appliance required.
